As this week's Skywatch feature, he's another shot that I took on my New Year's Eve walk, exactly one week ago today. This is an interesting view of the Oratory and the *ahem* rather impressive antennas sitting on top of the Rockhill apartment buildings, antennas that were the last of their kind to be put up before a law was put into place forbidding such lovely structures being built in a place that would impede the view of Mount Royal and the historic buildings on it. Impede the view, they do indeed, particularly in the summer once the leaves are on the trees, but in the winter they're not quite so bad.
Happy Skywatch Friday, and don't forget to add to the enjoyment of your Friday by going to check out my fellow skywatchers' posts over here
I agree that the antennae are not that pretty, but that domed building is lovely!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot Karine, I agree with serendipity, that building is gorgeous.
