This week's camera critter is one of the many, many butterflies I snapped a picture of while at the annual 'Butterflies Go Free' exhibit at Montreal's Botanical Gardens. They let literally thousands of butterflies free in their biggest greenhouse and we can go and fest our eyes on them from mid-February to mid-April. Some species come back year after year, but this year there were a few that I had never seen before, namely the on this photo. Enlarge it, it's definitely worth it :o)
Have a great weekend and don't forget to check out all the other camera critters that can be found over here
Oh WOW!!! That is absolutely gorgeous! I've been wanting to go to a butterfly exhibit for a long time now.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beauty. We had a similar display at the Como Zoo in St. Paul, MN last year, and it was a terrific experience to see.
ReplyDeleteJust two words... absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteI'd love the chance to spend some time there. It must be a truly wonderful experience.
Mine’s here: Carletta’s Captures.
Our zoo has a year round butterfly house. It's wonderful.
