Skywatch Friday

I'm pretty sure I've shared this week's Skywatch feature before, but it's one of my favorites, so I figured I'd share it with you all again. It is the forward mast of the Queen Mary, which is permanently docked in Long Beach, California. It was my favorite out of all the places my Sweetheart and I visited while we were in Los Angeles last May.

To see more Skywatch photos from around around the world, you can visit the Skywatch Friday blog.

I hope you all had wonderful New Year's celebrations and I wish you all the best for 2012! Thanks for stopping by :o)

  1. Perfect photo with the sun hiding in the background. The flags add just the right tinge of colour.

  4. That is a view that no one could tire of, flags flapping on a sea breeze what could be better. Thanks for your kind comments.

  5. I lived in Long Beach and toured the Queen Mary when it first became an attraction. I even got to stay in the hotel portion once. Lots of fun. - Margy
