Today I...April 9th

Today I...

...had a quiet day at home.

...slept quite late after having some issues getting to sleep after getting home from my family dinner last night. Good thing I didn't have to go to work this morning is all I have to say!

...am enjoying my latest book, Rules of Civilty by Amor Towles, more and more as I near the end of it. The intrigue has been getting better the further along I get in the story!

...am sharing this video excerpt form 'Ghosts of The Abyss', a film that was made several years ago in Imax 3D with all of you. This week is the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's maiden voyage and sinking and The National Geographic Channel is having a week of Titanic documentaries every evening as of 8:00 P.M. to mark the centennial. I could not be happier about the week of documentaries as I have been fascinated with the story of the Titanic since I have been about 9 years old and have more than a dozen books about the ship and her story, but still always enjoy seeing new documentaries on the subject!

  1. Hi Karine!! I'm so glad to read that you have your vacation time nailed down--I hope it ends up being Paris, and I love the idea of 'home away!' I think wherever you go, you'll have a wonderful time!! :-)

I'm off now to watch your video--I also love everything about the Titanic, and every little article I read on it, gets me that much more intrigued! I may go see the movie Titanic in 3D with a friend that I saw the original one with.

Take care, and enjoy your week!!
