New Anne of Green Gables TV series to feature a re-imagined Anne Shirley
I just read this article about a new Anne of Green Gables series that is more than likely going to be released in 2014 and I can't wait to see it! Maybe I'll even see if I can get cast as an extra or something, what fun that would be!
Seriously??? Is it based on any books? Is Kevin Sullivan doing it? Hmmm, so interesting!
ReplyDeleteNope, not Sullivan this time. Breakthrough Entertainment will be creating it and it looks like it will be a mini series based on a few of the books, possibly all of them.
ReplyDeleteI love Anne of Green Gables and I'm so grateful I was exposed to her as a kid--Anne was smart and unafraid, bold and she loved deeply. She valued herself, and others for who they were rather than what they looked like or how much money they had. As far as fictional heroines go, I couldn’t have asked for better as a young girl. :-)
