Today I...February 27th

Today I...

...am sharing this different view of one of Montreal's most famous sculpture. It can be found in front of the Banque Laurentienne-BNP Paribas building on McGill College Avenue.

...did a bit of Spring cleaning. I washed the sheets and duvet cover for my bed as well as my towels. I also washed my kitchen floor and did a lot of dusting.

...watched 'Le Roi Danse (The King is Dancing)', a film about Louis IV and his music master Jean-Baptiste Lully after I was done cleaning.

...am now watching the Oscars to see how 'The King's Speech' does and to watch the musical numbers and admire all the lovely gowns the actresses are wearing. I was also hoping that the Canadian (from Quebec!!!) candidate for best foreign film, Denis Villeneuve's 'Incendies' would win, but it lost out to a fill from Denmark. Oh well, better luck next time!

Today I...February 26th

Today I...

...am sharing this photo o f Montreal's Catholic Cathedral, Mary Queen of the World, and one if its most recognizable skyscrapers, 1000 de la Gauchetière, with you. The reason behind this is that I went for a long walk Downtown today along Ste-Catherine Street and I was hoping to post a photo or video of the street for you, but found none that I thought did it justice. I'll have to go back out tomorrow or next weekend to get a few good photos.

...walked about three kilometers today and it felt lovely.

...didn't bring my camera because I hadn't planned on walking so much along Ste-Catherine, but found myself wishing that I had. As I said, I'll have to go back out. One of the reasons I didn't bring my camera was because I was out to run some errands and didn't want to have to haul the camera bag along with my purse and my shopping bag.

...bought the score for Vivaldi's Magnificat, which I will be singing with my choir in may.

...also got myself a new book, Kate Morton's 'The Distant Hours'. I really liked her last book 'The Forgotten Garden' and am hoping that I will enjoy this book just as much. I also got myself another book about O'ahu since my Sweetheart and I are now thinking we may stay in places other than Honolulu so we can visit the whole island more easily. I think I'm going to suggest that we start our elsewhere on the island and finish at O'ahu since it would make getting to the airport easier on the day we leave.

...made a stop at the grocery store on the way home for potatoes and pasta sauce to go with my dinners this week and then walked home. I didn't get a grocery bag since I wasn't going too far, but that's the beauty about Montreal: you can walk home with a jar of pasta sauce, four potatoes in a bag from the vegetable stand and a bag from a bookstore and no one will look at you funny. You have to be carrying something really, really weird to get funny looks here, say your pants in your hands when you're walking around in your underwear. That will do it if you're looking for attention :o) Just be sure not to do it near any busy roads where you'll slow down traffic, because then you might get arrested.

Today I...February 25th

Today I...

...am not feeling overly inspired to pick a picture for this post and so am going pictureless. My picture enhanced posting habits should be back up to snuff tomorrow :o)

...had a bit of a rough day with two group organizers for the novena calling me to say they hadn't gotten the documents I mailed them yet even though they had called and booked with me and requested their thing two weeks ago. I was expecting this sort of thing to happen because the mail room clerk was incredibly slow at sending come of my envelopes off because she also had thousands of tax receipts to mail out to the Oratory's benefactors. I asked them both to wait one more week and to call me again if they still hadn't gotten their things.

...had my rough day compounded by getting a major verbal lashing from an Italian priest from Toronto. He was yelling at me so loudly that I had to hold the phone away from my ear and when I did C could hear him screaming at me from the other side of the separator between our desks. Ugh...fortunately the rule of 'don't yell back and he'll yell himself out' worked.

...was happy to come home after work and am now enjoying the last of my pear ice wine. I figured I deserved a good drink after the day I had!

Skywatch Friday

This week's Skywatch photo is a shot I took in the Distillery District when my Sweetheart brought me to visit it this past Monday before I got on the train to come home. It was the last place left on my list of places I wanted to visit in Toronto while my Sweetheart was on his two-year contract there and I must say that it was a nice end to my last weekend there before he moves home. I loved the red brick buildings and the red brick streets and the trendy little boutiques there, I was just sorry that it was such a tiny little district, especially when compared with Old Montreal! The only things that would have made the visit there better? Sunny skies, warmer weather and more time so we could have had a hot chocolate at the Soma chocolate shop :o)

To see more Skywatch photos from around the world, visit the Skywatch Friday blog.

Have a nice weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Today I...February 23rd

Today I...

...am sharing this photo of daffodils that I took near my former apartment in April of last year. Daffodils are my favorite spring flowers and I'm posting them today because I can feel that Spring is coming. The sun is getting warmer and the snow is melting, so I'm hoping to see daffodils in early April again this year :o)

...had another busy day at work, although today was a bit better than yesterday.

...was thinking of going to buy some shampoo and supplements after work, but decided to just come home instead and take it easy after the crazy day I had yesterday! I figured I was entitled to do a bit of relaxing, so I'll go out and buy the shampoo and supplements tomorrow.

...am waiting to see if my Sweetheart makes in online before I disconnect for the evening. I seem to remember him saying that he was going Downtown after work today though, so we may not get to talk again tonight. That's okay though, he wrote to me last night and there's always tomorrow!

VIA #66 - Cornwall Ontario

So, this is my good friend Via train #66 which runs daily from Toronto to Montreal except for Saturdays. Via trains are normally very punctual, as in they run on time. But this one? Yeah, safe bet you're going to get where you're going early because the only stops it makes are Oshawa, which is about a half hour out of Toronto, and Dorval which is about 15 minutes out of Downtown Montreal. Between all those stations, this little fella runs at about 120 km per hour, as shown in this video. I may even have been on that train for all I know. Anyhow, from Union station to the door of my apartment last night? Five hours on the nose, with only four hours and twenty minutes on the train.

Today I...February 22nd

Today I...

...am sharing this photo of one of the enchanting floral decorations at the Spring Rolls restaurant that my Sweetheart, my aunt, her friend and I ate at after our visit to The Rex Jazz Bar and Hotel last Friday night.

...am very happy to report that my Sweetheart was not walking in the front door to The Rex when part of the aluminum siding that ran along the front of the roof blew off and down onto the sidewalk in front of the bar, nor was anyone else fortunately and miraculously, since the corner of Queen and University streets is a very busy one indeed. Yikes...

...am also so very happy to report that I had a lovely weekend at my Sweetheart's. We talked and laughed and we felt none of the usual 'Oh my God, we're running out of time' stress that we would feel as our weekends together edged along. No, for the first time in two years we were truly able to enjoy every last minute of our time together because my Sweetheart in moving back to Montreal in 12 days!!! Oh, March 6th, I believe we will make a new anniversary out of you :o)

...had one heck of a busy day. I signed up 300 pilgrims (six groups) for the novena, cleared out most of my backlog of e-mails and still had time for lunch! Wow!!! lol

...went grocery shopping after work came home and did the laundry and finally got to crash on my couch at 9:00 P.M.

...am posting, after I'm done here, a video of a train I will forever recognize when I see it along the tracks, Via #66, the train that carried me home from Toronto a dozen times (literally) over the past two years. Normally when I heard them opening and closing the doors of the train at the stations I felt my heart drop because I was getting one stop further from Toronto and my Sweetheart, but last night I didn't feel that at all. I felt my heart lift as we got closer to Montreal and I kept thinking 'We did, we did it, we made it work for two whole years.' We did, it was lots of stress sometimes, lots of tears sometimes, lots of loneliness sometimes, but also lots of laughs, lots of smiles, lots of hours talking on 'the phone' (Skype), lots of weekends spent together that we never would have spent together had my Sweetheart stayed in Montreal. So was it hard? Yes. Was it long? Oh, yeah. But would I trade the time I spent with my Sweetheart over the past two years and what it brought us? The growth and the maturity and the confidence in the strength of our relationship? No, not one minute, not one second, not one laugh he got out of me to stop me from crying when I got on the train and not one tear I shed once I was on the train, not one.

Skywatch Friday

This week's Skywatch feature is this photo I took of the flock of sculptures of Canada Geese that are hanging from the atrium of the Eaton Center in Toronto. There are two reasons that I'm using this picture, the first is because it is part of the first series of photos that I took during my two years of travelling back and forth between Toronto to visit my Sweetheart. I made my first trip to visit my Sweetheart in Toronto in February of 2009, then another in May of 2009, followed by a third in July of 2009 and then I made the trip where this photo was taken in September of 2009. I don't know why I didn't take any photos before that, maybe because before that I always found my trips to be so short that I didn't have enough time to take photos since all of my focus was on my Sweetheart. Anyhow, now that I look back at it, the two years my Sweetheart spent in Toronto flew by...thus these geese taking flight. I am SO ready to spend this coming weekend with my Sweetheart and then welcome him home to Montreal in two weeks time, but at the same time I will miss how going to visit him allowed me to leave town for the weekend and spend time with him. His apartment was a haven of peace for me, a bubble where the energy was so happy and positive that I always came home with a glow for about a week before my missing him kicked in full force. We will have to find a way to get away for weekends here as well and for the next few months until his condo is truly his again, I hope that my apartment will become our peaceful little bubble, especially while we get the hang of being within an hour of each other again instead of a five hour train ride apart! That may sound strange, but it will be an adjustment! Picking up the phone instead of Skype, not having to worry about long-distance fees or the internet connection tanking and dropping our calls mid-sentence, not having to budget before being able to go and see him, not having to wait six weeks between visits, etc., etc. What may be hardest for me though is having to share him with everyone else while he's here and he'll have to learn how to balance out his time among his friends and family and me again, something that we haven't had to worry about for two years now. We'll figure out though, I'm sure. It may take us a few months, but we will figure it out :o)

I hope you all have a great weekend, I should be back to my regular blogging schedule on Tuesday. Until then, thanks for stopping by and be sure not to miss all the other great Skywatch photos on the Skywatch Friday blog.

Today I...February 16th

Today I...

...am sharing this picture of my two lovely ladies with you. This is Quinn (my mommy cat) and Magique (her kitten) sleeping together on my old couch in my first apartment three years ago. They still sleep curled up together sometimes, but not nearly as much as when Magique was still little. She's kind of outgrown that now, you know? Now they like to wrestle and play together more than anything else!

...had a slightly calmer day at work than yesterday, but I definitely spent more time on the phone today, a lot of it with confused people who were planning on coming to the Oratory for the first time!

...battled a headache all day and ended up crashing on my bed when I got home and taking a half-hour nap. The headache was still not gone after that and a hot shower, so I took two Advils and am now doing much better.

...washed all the dishes I left in the sink yesterday. I spent so much time ironing last night that there was absolutely no way that I was washing my dishes on top of that!

...was hoping to speak with my Sweetheart, but I think he may have had a concert in town tonight because he is not on Skype. I'll write him a little e-mail after finishing up here to confirm our meeting place for Friday (if he finishes work late, otherwise I'll just head straight to his apartment) just in case we don't manage to get together on Skype tomorrow.

Today I...February 15th

Today I...

...am sharing this picture of little miss Magique where she is looking a bit mischievous, because that is just how she had been acting this evening. So far, she has pawed at my lunch bags, which hang off the side of my spare kitchen chair and which she normally ignores, has knocked over my umbrella stand and just sat in the hallway yelling for no apparent reason. I can't hear what she's up to right now, which may or may not be a good sign.

...spent an hour ironing. Yup, an hour. I had no clue that I had piled up so much stuff to iron and I hate doing it, so it kinda put a dent in my mood. I'll have to be more careful from now on and keep on top of it, or at least try to.

...had a very busy day at work with lots of people signing up for the novena to St-Joseph. I am up to 3, 557 people now and will be up to at least 3, 407 by the end of the day tomorrow as I am expecting an e-mail from a group. If tomorrow is like today though I could get up to 200 more people signed up (in groups of 48 or 56) if not more. I would be very happy if I did get that many people because it means lots of work and lots of work makes the day go by quickly!

...went out after work to buy chocolates for my friend H who will be looking after my cats while I'm at my Sweetheart's this weekend and a Valentine's Day gift for my Sweetheart and then walked most of the way home because the line for the bus at the metro station was obscenely long and there was no bus in sight. It was a bit nippy outside and by the time I got home I could no longer feel most of my face, but the exercise felt wonderful!

Today I... February 13th

Today I...

...am sharing this picture of my friends and I together at a party this past summer with you. This is my Valentine to you, because I want to wish you all a Happy Valentine's day whether you have a significant other or not. because as I am trying to show you with this photo, I believe that Valentine's Day is and should be publicized as being about love in all shapes and forms whether it be love between a couple or the love shared by family and friends. So happy Valentine's Day to all of you and know that whether you are in a relationship or not, you are loved. I, for one, will probably go out and buy myself some flowers tomorrow, something that I do quite regularly on Valentine's Day and I always get a good laugh out of seeing how I walk into the florist's shop with a smile on my face to buy the flowers, whereas most of the other customers in the store are very stressed out men. I somehow get the impression that women enjoy Valentine's Day far more than men do. Poor guys... ;o) The bottom line is, give yourselves a treat tomorrow folks, because Valentine's Day should be about shred love, but should also be a reminder to love yourself :o)

...am feeling much better after another lovely, long night's sleep. The sluggishness is gone and I hope it won't be back for a while.

...trekked out to the West Island for a spa treatment and am now feeling quite pretty :o)

...saw, for the first and hopefully last time, a guy get his face stuck in the doors of my metro car. Yup, you read that right, his face. It was so unbelievable to see him that way that I didn't quite believe what I was seeing. I remember thinking 'No way, seriously???' How on earth the guy managed to get stuck like that is beyond me, because logically when you're trying to make sure you get on the metro, you're trying to hold the doors open with your hands (and you're just asking for a hefty fine by doing that...). I didn't see how the guy got stuck, if he tripped or not, but it took two tall, built up men to pry the doors open enough to for kid to get his head out of the door and then, to add insult to injury, for the kid at least, the train left the station and he stayed on the platform. No one in the metro car said anything, I think were were all still too busy thinking 'Seriously?!?!?'.

...got both the vacuuming and the laundry done when I got home.

...spoke with my Sweetheart and he is fine, no cold in sight. Phew!!! Now, he's not allowed to catch one this week because I am going to visit him! No colds allowed!!! Not for me, not for him, not for anyone who is in close contact with us and who can contaminate us! Why am I so worried my Sweetheart might catch a cold or flu you may be wondering? Because he is, quite literally, allergic to work. Whenever things get hectic at work he gets stressed out, works to much, doesn't sleep enough and doesn't eat well and then *poof* he gets a cold. He only has a few weeks left at his job in Toronto and he is stressed out about getting all his work done before leaving so the LAST thing I want is for him to have an allergy attack this week. As for me, the odds of my getting sick are fairly low since I am blessed with a cast iron immune system (I just touched wood anyhow though) and a woman's logic that tells me to take vitamin C and D every day to help my immune system do its job and to give it an additional boost with some extra strength Cold FX if I do feel something coming it. So, hopefully everything will go smoothly and my Sweetheart and I will be able to have a lovely, cold and flu free weekend together :o)

Today I...February 12th

Today I...

...am sharing this photo of a maple toffee stand in Mont-Tremblant with you. That's my aunt in the red coat with her back to the camera, she was talking to the guy running the stand.

...slept in and it felt great, but I'm still tired. Ugh, talk about mid-winder sluggishness! Hopefully another long night's sleep will kick this tiredness off.

...had a lovely lunch with my mom and brother.

...wanted to knock out my brother for dumping snow on my head and down the back of my coat when we got to our mom's place.

...was happy to gather food from my mom's place (beef stew and halupki (cabbage rolls) ).

...also brought home a lovely umbrella stand that my grandparents got me for Christmas, but that my mom had forgotten to put under the tree back in December and a DVD player that my mom wasn't using anymore. I am very happy that my wet umbrella will no longer have to sit on my wood floor hidden in a corner and that I can now watch DVDs on my TV instead of only on my small portable DVD player.

...was hoping to speak with my Sweetheart, but he was only on Skype for about 10 minutes. I guess maybe he really does have a cold this time or he is as tired as I am and decided to just go to bed. I'll probably get to talk with him tomorrow.

...am thinking that going to bed early (as in before 11:30) is sounding pretty good right now.

Today I...February 11th

Today I...

...am sharing another photo of Mont-Tremblant with you. This is one of the two main plazas in the village, once again, still with the Christmas tree up. I find it adds to the charm :o)

...am asking those of you who pray to please keep my boss in your prayers tonight. He found out this afternoon that his younger brother (he was only 38) died of a stroke suddenly this afternoon while he was back home in Haiti visiting family and friends. My boss is flying over there tonight to be with his family.

...was in total TGIF mode all day at work and was out the door of the office at 4:30 P.M. sharp. I was walking past the door of the office, D was gone about two minutes ahead of me and there was C still sitting at her desk. 'You know it's Friday, right?' I asked her 'And it's a bit past 4:30?' she laughed and said 'Yup, thank God it's Friday!!!' She told me that she was leaving in a few minutes and I'm guessing she did, but I didn't see her, I was out of there in record time!

...grudgingly coughed up the money for my drivers' licence. I hate the provincial government's practice of making us pay for our driver's licence by our birthday every year. 'Happy Birthday, now pay up!' Ugh...nearly 90$ for a licence that I hardly ever use...oh well, there's no use complaining about it since I am not at all interested in losing the darn thing and having to be tested over again for it.

..had a nice, quiet, relaxing evening and started it off with a nice soak in the tub. I then watched part of the documentary series about New York City that I have on DVD followed by CSI NY.

...am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow before going to lunch with my mom and my brother for my early birthday celebration. My birthday is Saturday of next week, but since I'm going to be in Toronto with my Sweetheart for it (have I mentioned that I can't wait to see him???), I'm having my birthday with my mom and my brother tomorrow. We're going to an Italian restaurant near my mom's place that opened not too long ago, so none of us have been there yet. I'm looking forward to trying it out!

Today I...February 10th

Today I...

...am skipping my Skywatch Friday post as I am quite tired and didn't feel like picking out a picture. Horribly lazy of me, I know, but sometimes you just need to be lazy in life! I'll be back for Skywatch next week though.

...felt tired and edgy all day. End of period hormones are different and yet sometimes just as bad as PMS I find.

...had a very busy day day. I've been working on St.Joseph's Novena stuff (I handle all the pilgrimage groups booking to come to the Oratory) for over a month now, but it's getting busier now. As of 4:30 P.M. today I had 2, 995 people booked. It got up to over 4, 000 last year, so if this year follows suit, at least I'm more than halfway through it. But yeah, that's a whole load of people to put of a seating plan. I always wondered why my cousin didn't ask me to help her plan her wedding last year, I probably could have done it in a snap! lol

...went grocery shopping after work.

...am so happy that it's Friday tomorrow. I only have to work four days next week and then I'll be off to my Sweetheart's place for four days!!! I can't wait to see him :o)

...am sharing a link to a hilarious blog with you. Well, it's hilarious for me because I don't have kids yet. I know very well that some day soon I'll probably have picture of my own to put on there, because having worked with kids I know that no matter how hard to you try keep them out of trouble, they'll find a way to get into it anyway!!!

Wednesday, February 9, 2011

Today I...February 9th

Today I...

...am sharing another of my Mont-Tremblant pictures with you. As you can see, it's still Christmas there :o)

...finished reading Kate Pullinger's 'The Mistress of Nothing'. It was a wonderful light read, I got through it in about a week and a half and finished it during my break at work today.

...went out to buy a new book after work 'Let the Great World Spin', my Colum McCann and am very much looking forward to starting it tonight.

...spoke to my Sweetheart very briefly, but he was in his mid-week slump, tired and feeling a bit like he might be coming down with a cold. I hope I didn't project the germs onto him by wondering if he had gone silent because he was sick last weekend!

Tuesday, February 8, 2011

Today I...February 8th

Today I...

...am sharing another picture of Mont-Tremblant with you. Going there to wander around the village is just as much fun as going there to ski, in my case since the village is truly picturesque and the buildings are all painted bright colors so they stand out against the snow. Lovely :o)

...spoke with my Sweetheart for over a half-hour, the highlight of my day :o) It turned out that he ended up in Montreal last weekend quite unexpectedly since his family called an emergency meeting. Nothing too serious, don't worry, they just needed to have a big discussion about something that couldn't wait so he had to jump on a train at the last minute. He wrote to me on Monday after I gave him a rather forceful poke. He forgot to tell me before leaving or actually he forgot that he hadn't told me. It's not the first time he's forgotten to tell me something like that, a few times he's actually thought he told me something when he had actually told his mother about it and vice-versa. Oh well, no big deal. The important thing is that he contacted me as soon as he realized his mistake.

...had a quieter day at work than yesterday, which was nice since yesterday was rather brutal.

...am happy to report that I can now read sheet music quite well! I'm very happy that it's coming back to me so easily, now I'll just have to keep it up so I don't lose the habit of it again. I had known how to read scores in high school when I played the flute, but then when I started singing it was just so much easier to rely on my perfect ear (play a note on any instrument and I shall reproduce it and tell you which note it is without fail). It was just kind of embarrassing when my choir director asked us to sight read through a piece of music while actually saying what note we were reading (sol, la, si, do, ré...ouch) I could sound them out, but not read them like that, but now after a few days of writing the names of the notes on my scores, no problem. Phew!

Today I...February 6th

Today I...

...am sharing this picture that I took at Mont-Tremblant on Friday night with you. It took my brother and two and a half hours to get there due to traffic and a wrong turn which sent us onto the wrong side of the mountain, but it was worth it since we had a lovely time with my aunt and uncle. I was dead tired by the time my brother dropped me off at home at about 1:00 A.M. though and was out like a light as soon as my head hit the pillow!

...am sharing with you how my friend V and I took the wrong bus yesterday while heading out to Juliette et Chocolat. There at two buses that at Snowdon ,metro station. One of them runs about every ten minutes and then other every half-hour and every once in a while, people forget to check the number of the bus line and get on the wrong one. I'm so, so used to taking public transit that this is usually the sort of thing that happens 'to the other people' and not to me. I'm never the one who goes the wrong way on the metro or gets on the wrong bus, but yesterday, V and I did. Fortunately though, there is now more than one Juliette et Chocolat in Montreal, so to save face we went to the one on St-Denis instead of the one on Laurier and we laughed at ourselves instead of being embarrassed :o)

...am sorry for not visiting your blogs very much lately, but I have fairly advanced PMS right now and that can make me very 'blah'. I don't feel like doing much, it took a whole lot just to motivate myself to do my laundry and wash the dishes and vacuum today and to wash my bathroom yesterday! Aside from that, all I've done this weekend aside from going out with V for chocolate (something that requires very little motivation at any time, but even less when I have PMS) is lie around and read my book and watch movies (Daniel Deronda on Youtube and The Perfect Storm on TV). I am sorry, I should be feeling better soon and will get back into the swing of things.

...am a bit worried about my Sweetheart. I haven't spoken with him since Wednesday, which is a bit my fault because I didn't stay on Skype past 9:15 on Thursday or past 8:30 last night, so I may have missed him, but yesterday I was connected as of 2:30 and didn't see him at all and he wasn't on at all today and that is quite odd. I sent him an e-mail earlier and then called and left a message on his cell phone about a half hour ago. It didn't go straight to voice mail so it was turned on. All I can think of is that he was coughing a bit on Wednesday night so he may have a cold or he may have gotten a surprise, last minute visit from his family or some friends that he may not have had a chance to tell me about. Anyhow, I'm hoping to hear from him tomorrow or I'm going to really get worried.

...am very much looking forward to watching the season finale of Flashpoint after I Superbowl. I just hope the blasted football doesn't run too late and delay my TV show much past 10:00 P.M.! No, I do not like football, like not at all. I think it's quite silly and I have very little patience for it since the clock gets stopped so often due to a bunch of guys jumping on top of one another in an effort to gain hold of a ball. Ugh...give me hockey over football any day!!!

Skywatch Friday

This week's Skywatch feature is the view of the sky seen through the huge trees in the woods of North Vancouver. I had never seen such huge trees before going to BC and I remember being completely floored when I first saw them and would probably be just as impressed if I saw them again now.

To see more Skywatch photos from around the world, you can visit the Skywatch Friday Blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Today I...February 2nd

Today I...

...am sharing this picture of a bee in a field of lavender with you. It's one of my all-time favorite photos :o)

...am apologizing for being an absentee blogger since Sunday. I was hoping to get a post up last night, but got home later than I had expected from an evening at a friend's house.

...saw the most active snowstorms since 2008. Not a huge amount of snow (20-30 cms), but a lot of wind and that's what makes all the difference in a storm...whether you can see more than two feet in front of you or not!!!

...got some beef stroganoff ready in my crockpot, it's sitting in my fridge and I'll take it out and plug it in tomorrow morning so I can have some for dinner when I get home from work. The stroganoff is totally loaded with mushrooms and I'm a major mushroom junkie, so YUM!!!

...am looking forward to heading up to Mont-Tremblant with my brother after work on Friday so we can have dinner with my aunt and uncle! I'm hoping to get a few pictures taken as well, but will have to see how cold it is and whether it's snowing or not. Snow and icy cold do not mix with cameras.

...spoke with my Sweetheart for nearly an hour again and gave him a bit of help with setting up a website to showcase the photos he took at the wedding of a couple he is friends with. It looks very nice and he's just about worked all the kinks out of it.
